You will be picked up from your
Kangaroo Island accommodation (Penneshaw, American River
or Kingscote hotel/motels)or the airport by your SeaLink
Coach Driver. Settle back
in the comfort of your SeaLink coach and enjoy the
scenery on your way to Clifford's Honey Farm for a delightful
presentation by the beekeeper followed by tastings. Don't
miss the delicious home-made honey ice-cream!.
A two-course lunch is next before heading to the awesome Flinders
Chase National Park where you will visit and be able to climb
around Remarkable Rocks, a cluster of huge and spectacular
weather-sculpted granite boulders, Cape du Couedic Lighthouse
and Admiral's Arch, where a colony of NZ fur seals live and
play. Your visit i s topped off with a stop at the award winning
Flinders Chase Visitor Centre containing everything from eye-catching
murals portraying life-size megafauna, to a computer touch
screen and touch tables that make for an exceptional sensory
experience. The Centre provides restrooms, a licensed
café and there are plenty of souvenirs to purchase.
From Seal Bay, we will roll through native bush and farmland
on our way to Kingscote to see the daily pelican feeding. "The
Pelican Man" gives a lively and informative talk while
feeding the birds. It really is entertainment for all
ages.
Your tour concludes with your transfer to your Kangaroo Island
accommodation, the airport or ferry terminal for your return
journey to Adelaide.
