DAY 1
This tour departs from Kangaroo Island where you will be picked up from your accommodation in
Penneshaw, American River or Kingscote before visiting Clifford's Honey Farm for an informative
presentation by the beekeeper followed by tastings of various honey varieties and the delicious homemade
honey ice-cream.
A two-course lunch is next before heading to Flinders Chase National Park to visit the spectacular
Remarkable Rocks, a cluster of huge weather-sculpted granite boulders; Cape du Couedic Lighthouse;
and Admiral's Arch, where a colony of NZ fur seals live and play.
Drop into the Flinders Chase Visitor
Centre featuring everything from eye-catching murals portraying life-size mega fauna, to touch screens
and touch tables that make for an exceptional sensory experience. The Centre also provides restrooms, a
licensed cafe and there are plenty of souvenirs to purchase.
From Flinders Chase National Park, pass through native bush and farmland on the way to Kingscote to
see the daily pelican feeding. "The Pelican Man" gives a lively and informative talk while feeding the
pelicans.
